THE CHALLENGE

Emerage Cosmetics – a skincare provider in the United States of America was launching a new store in a competitive space. The store had good traffic from the doctors existing social media pages and website but was suffering on other organic platforms (specifically search engine traffic). 

The website was initially launched by the design team without the necessary Search Engine optimizations. The goal of the optimizations was to increase sales as well as drive new customer acquisition.

THE SOLUTION

Taking over a website that was recently finished, little was optimized and significant design changes were being requested by the client.  Jack Pine audited the UX and UI design of the website while also fixing stability issues to help meet Google’s standards.  A Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategy was specifically designed around Google’s preferences. Jack Pine executed extensive onsite and offsite website optimizations,  overhauling and updating back end and front end code to ensure the website was linking properly to rank as high as possible in a highly competitive market. 

Once the initial onsite, technical SEO was completed, further optimizations were made to the linking, layout, and content of the website. Including the development and deployment of remarketing tools and campaigns to capture customer data and issue refill reminders, abandoned cart reminders, etc. An all-encompassing strategy was developed and deployed to discover and acquire new customers while also maintaining regular purchases from existing customers. 

THE OUTCOME

During the initial 6 month study period Jack Pine improved Emerage Cosmetics’s organic website traffic by 369%. New users increased by 358% and organic total sales increased by 132%.

Emerage Cosmetics say a huge increase in traffic placing them on a very healthy trajectory leading up to the most popular shopping days of the year. Numbers continued to increase and sales continue to surge.
